Support in School

We are able to provide 1:1 support in schools, in person or virtually, to support and empower staff to meet the needs of children/young people with autism.

Services

• Practicioners/Parents Consulation for specific advice and recomendations for individual students
• School Consultations
• Student Observation in school and feedback this includes joint observations in class/school, feedback session and future stategies.
• Comissioned Services through school or cluster
• Half termly/termly autism specific strategy meetings.
• Mentoring Services funded by Parents or School.
• Meeting to gather information as to what is going well and also any areas of concern
• Support to use specific strategies such as symbols, PECS, Intensive Interaction
• Autism awareness work for an individual child/young person with autism
• Autism awareness work for a whole class / school, including delivering assemblies and/or lessons
• Attending meetings

Pricing

• Free initial consultation.

Future visits:
£75 per hour – in school
£75 per hour – attending meetings
£50 per hour – report writing, off-site

We are able to provide 1:1 support in the home environment, in person or virtually

Services

• Meeting to gather information as to what is going well and also any areas of concern
• Observation of the child/young person
• Working with the child/young person directly and supporting and empowering the family to meet the needs of their child:
– Structure and routine
– Visual Supports within the home
– Intensive Interaction (developing the fundamentals of communication)
– Offering specific PECS support (Picture Exchange Communication System)
– Play plans and modelling play
– Advice around sensory differences and how to support this in daily life
– Support around behaviour as communication
• Autism awareness work for an individual child/young person with autism
• Autism awareness work for siblings or the wider family

Pricing

• £50 per hour
• £50 per hour – report writing, off-site
